Messerschmitt Enthusiasts Club Rules

- That the club shall be called "Messerschmitt Enthusiast's Club".
- That the object of the Club shall be to further the interest in Messerschmitts and to provide help and mutual friendship for the members of the Club.
- That the Club shall consist of:
- At least five Committee Members, namely an ‘Executive Committee' consisting of, Honorary Chairman, Honorary Secretary, and Honorary Treasurer, and a Club Membership Secretary and Club Regalia Secretary.
- A variable number of Area Representatives who sit as Committee Members and.
- Ordinary Members

- A Committee or General meeting requires a notification to be published and minimum of 28 days from that publication to the date of the actual meeting to be valid.
- A meeting of the Executive Committee can be called at the request of the Honorary Chairman, Honorary Secretary or Honorary Treasurer and other attendees can be invited. The Executive Committee shall report back to the full Committee.
- The Committee may co-opt extra Committee Members if required.
- That four members of the standing Committee shall form a Quorum.
- That a Committee Member of the MEC shall not be a Committee Member of another Messerschmitt Club.
- That Committee Members must be paid up members of the MEC.

- Membership shall be open to past and present owners of Messerschmitt vehicles.
- At the discretion of the Committee, potential Messerschmitt owners shall be admitted to the Club.
- That the Committee reserve the right to refuse or terminate a membership by a two-thirds majority decision.
- That the annual subscription (as of 31st October 2008) is £12.00 payable on the 1st of Jan for members with a UK address. The overseas membership will be £18.00 value in Sterling. The membership is deemed to have lapsed after failure to respond to a final reminder (usually enclosed with the Club's magazine).
- That membership is an entitlement to receive the Club magazine Take Off, full access to the MEC website, KaroScene and to the Club spares service.
- That the AGM shall take place annually after the end of September with the accounts taking the year-end at 30th of September.
- These rules may only be added to or amended at a General Meeting
- That the MEC holds a bank account at the Lloyds branch in Faringdon.
